The year 2010 saw the decade end with a significant splash in the US daily publication with its long standing reputation for being not just the newspaper of outstanding stature but the carrier of any news worthy of print as well, and this news was good news for the whole world. Pink, it screamed to us, was on the “in” list again; pink had returned and you could find it everywhere!

The paper discussed the fashion of 1950's and 1960's in detail when everyone, including the wealthiest and most influential people of the society preferred tint of rose for their home, and ultimately went ahead with this piece of spicy current affair. The attraction towards the color pink with respect to almost all articles was gradually fading down in the 1970s while on the contrary, subdued colors were gaining importance. Manufacturers gravely took note of this shift in color preference which spread to even the normal shopping for girls nursery bedding.

Then, as the main story in the weekend “Style” section, there was an interior designer all dressed in pink telling us about how many people are now incorporating all sorts of pink accessories into their home decoration color schemes and especially using pink shades of tile on the walls, buying pink toilet fixtures and choosing pink bathroom linens.

The present article deals with the modern well-appointed lavatories only. But at the same time, in recent times, there have been a resurrection in the other parts of the house also, which is obvious if you look at the department stores' and the decorators' collections. More pronounced effect is observed the baby sleeping room collections which now look gorgeous and attractive with a modern amalgamation of Brown and pink nursery bedding.

Many parents of newborn girls don't think of rejecting the pink nursery. Although many soon to be mothers long for a feminine touch, they resisted using the carnations and corals that they had considered using because that would appear outdated or middle-class.

Nowadays, no one has to have an unanswered longing for pink, as decorators everywhere are choosing everything in this shade from pastels to bright raspberry. In an array of highly fashionable designs, the pink's playfulness is complemented by the elegance of brown once the light cocoa, dark cocoa, and chocolate tones have been added. Careful parents can cut short the cost of decorating their baby bedroom if the buy all the pink and brown accessories for the bedroom along with crib sets.
